Teach network
Over the years, to improve the relevance and employability of young graduates in both public and private sectors, ACCA hope to do our part on reducing the gap by establishing ACCA Teach Network in Vietnam, as a network that aims to strengthen and present academics and professionals within the industry a platform for discourse, at the same time ensuring academic excellence and independence.
With this network, ACCA aims to provide a formal platform to bring academics and finance professionals, a channel to discuss relevant issues and trends on accounting & finance education. This initiative will play a significant role in facilitating the synergy between industry and academia.
On May 5, the Teach Network program was officially launched both in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City with around 150 participants who are lecturers from the Accounting, Auditing & Finance Department of 10 different universities. Right after the launching ceremony, the program started with the workshop on "Consolidated Financial Statements" by Reza Ali, Business Development Manager of ACCA ASEAN & Australasia.
This was the initiation of the ACCA lecture series for university lecturers of accounting & auditing subjects, including international-standard-base accountancy topics that ACCA Vietnam provides annually for our member in collaboration with local professional bodies such as the Vietnam Association of Accounting & Auditing, the Vietnam Association of Certified Public Accountants...
