About ACCA Vietnam
ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is the largest and fastest-growing global professional accountancy body with 296,000 students and 115,000 members in 170 countries. We aim to offer the first choice qualifications to people of application, ability and ambition around the world who seek a rewarding career in accountancy, finance and management.
ACCA Vietnam set up 2 represetative offices in HaNoi & Ho Chi Minh city.
In 2003, under the recognition of Government Body, ACCA & Ministry of Finance (MOF) signed a Memory of Understanding (MOU) in which students who study ACCA in VietNam will have chance to study Tax VietNam & Law VietNam and chance to do a conversion test to become CPA VietNam Members.
ACCA VietNam has a close relationship with the national accountancy body, VietNam Accounting Association (VAA), VietNam Accounting and Auditing Association (VACPA) with the commitment to work together in enhancing the quality of the accounting profession in VietNam.
There are currently almost 5000 students registered in ACCA & CAT programe, nearly 400 ACCA members and affiliates in VietNam. ACCA members and affiliates work in all key sectors of the economy and include leading captains of industry.
ACCA also works with employers in VietNam under the ACCA Approved Employer programme. This is a formal recognition of the learning and development support leading organisations offer to ACCA students and members. The Approved Employer programme is also platform from which ACCA and major employers in VietNam develop a mutually beneficial relationship, based on increasing the standard of learning and development support, innovative service and excellent delivery.
Through ACCA's continued commitment to strengthen and reinforce its relationships with its primary stakeholders: the members; students; employers; tuition providers and regulatory bodies, ACCA VietNam aims to achieve and promote the highest professional, ethical and governance standards and advance the public interest.
