November. ACCA and FBE School Presentation (Kyiv. Ukraine)
On 20 November 2012 ACCA together with Financial Business English School organised a presentation for those interested in improving their financial English skills to study with ACCA or to improve business communication skills. Near 20 people showed interest in the event.
Andriy Rudenko, Project Officer at ACCA Ukraine, Baltic and Caucasus States, greeted the participants with a welcome speech, outlining strong favourable position of ACCA qualified professionals on the job market and the need of mastering financial English skills in order to be successful ACCA student and finance professional. Andriy encouraged the attendees to visit ACCA’s Virtual Learning Centre for students – free resource, helping identify own level of English and mathematics with relevance to ACCA study programme.
Olena Pererva, Director and Senior Teacher at Financial Business English School, presented the English language programmes offered by her organisation and highlighted their relevance for achieving necessary level of English skills for ACCA exams. Olena stressed that ACCA and University of Cambridge International Certificate of Financial English (ICFE) is highly valued as an international business relevant certificate.
The event closed with a lucky prize drawing – four participants won discount certificates for Financial Business English School courses, while the other two got Oxford Business English dictionaries from ACCA to support the endeavour for English language learning.
