On March 3-4, 2011 the international theoretical and practical conference "Information Systems and Technologies in Economics" organized by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Ukraine, Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics (KNTEU), Belarus State Economic University (BSEU) and the University of National and World Economy (Bulgaria) supported by ACCA Ukraine was held in Kiev, Ukraine.

Among the participants were the representatives from USA, Belarus, and Ukraine (Kiev, Donetsk, Chernovtsy, Ternopol, Lvov, Poltava, Lutsk, Odessa, Kharkov, Vinnitsa, Khmelnitsky, Zhitomir, and Dnepropetrovsk).

During the conference the following issues were discussed:

• Information-analytical support of management functional systems
• Modern accounting and audit information technologies
• Analysis and control information technologies development
• Information technologies in economics modeling
• Information technologies in educational process
