June. Role of Audit in Changing Environment (Palanga. Lithuania)
On 03 June, 2011 the conference “Role of Audit in Changing Environment” organized by the Lithuanian Chamber of Auditors (LAR) and supported by ACCA was held in Palanga, Lithuania.
Over 100 auditors and representatives of education institutions took part in the conference to discuss questions on financial reporting and audit, quality assurance, audit services: quality, cost of procurement, adequacy of remuneration, EU Green Paper, and many others.
Nataliya Vovchuk, Head of ACCA Ukraine, Baltic and Caucasus States made a presentation “ACCA Expertise: Strategy & Programs’ Portfolio” and introduced attendees to ACCA Qualification and Foundations in Accountancy - a new flexible suite of entry-level awards that offers maximum flexibility and maximum employability were represented.
In the course of the event meetings and negotiations about potential cooperation with representatives of audit companies were carried on.
