June. Party dedicated to the launch of the first issue of the Finance for Business (Kiev. Ukraine)
The party, dedicated to the launch of the first issue of the Finance for Business, quarterly ACCA supplement to Ukrainian business daily Ekonomicheskie Izvestia, took place on 23 June 2010, in B-Hush Bar at Intercontinental hotel in Kyiv, Ukraine.
On occasion of the official launch of the first in Europe ACCA supplement, Adam Williams, Head of Publishing, and Chris Quick, Editor of the Supplement, and Chief Editor of the Accounting and Business magazine, arrived to Ukraine.
Event gathered about 70 high-profile guests, representing big business in Ukraine, top audit and consultancy firms, government bodies (such as Vasyl Volga, Head of the State Commission on Regulation of Financial Services Market of Ukraine).
The even started with official opening, and speeches by Nataliya Vovchuk, Head of ACCA Ukraine, Baltic, and Caucasus States, Yuriy Lobko, President of Media Invest Group, Adam Williams and Chris Quick.
Also, as part of the event, the certificate of ACCA Approved Employer was awarded to Interpipe, one of the biggest steel pipe producers in Europe.
The official part was followed by live jazz music, and informal socializing, which was useful and interesting for many guests.
