June. 2nd Training for SCRFSM in Ukraine (Kiev. Ukraine)
On June 18, 2010 Baker Tilly Ukraine together with ACCA Ukraine, Baltic and Caucasus States held a training “Financial instruments, capital management and risks: information disclosure” at the State Commission for Regulation of Financial Services Markets (SCRFSM) in Ukraine’s premises, Kiev.
This training was aimed to provide attendees with such topical issue as an information disclosure in the context of financial instruments and answer on such questions as “What kind of disclosures should be done?” and “Why information disclosure is important?”. During the training SCRFSM staff's attention was drawn to such standards as IFRS 7, IAS 1 and NAS 13.
Among the main issues that arose during a lively discussion were “How to put into practice appropriate information disclosures?” and “What kind of requirements for information disclosures are stated in IFRS, NAS and US GAAP?”.
This training was the second one within the cooperation project 2010 aimed to improve professional development for financial markets’ state regulators’ employees.
