February. Latvian company receives award for the Accountancy Website of the Year (Riga. Latvia)
SIA "Opentuition.com" received the PQ Magazine "Accountancy Website of the Year – 2010" award at a ceremony in London at the end of February.
Kris Klusek, Managing Director of Opentuition.com: "We are thrilled that our website has been awarded this honour in the face of strong competition after only two years of operation. The enormous growth in our number of users over this period has convinced us that we are giving a worthwhile service to students of accountancy, and we are grateful that our efforts have been recognised".
Opentuition.com is based in Riga, Latvia, was founded in 2008, and is dedicated to providing all accountancy students worldwide with the resources they need to study for the major accountancy qualifications, completely free of charge. OpenTuition.com has over 50,000 registered users from 170 countries.
PQ Magazine is a magazine published in the UK for accountancy students – in paper format in the UK, and online outside the UK – and has the largest distribution of any magazine of its type.
