Joint ACCA Ukraine, Baltic and Caucasus States and PricewaterhouseCoopers Ukraine open meeting “Successful Transformational Change in Internal Audit: Realigning the Value Proposition” was held on April 22, 2010 in the PricewaterhouseCoopers Ukraine’s premises, Kiev, Ukraine.
The event gathered together internal control, internal audit and auditing professionals, senior and middle managers, business process owners.
During the meeting the attendees had an opportunity to understand how to transform their focus on risk management, analyze approaches to realigning the value proposition.
PwC lectors emphasized:

importance of risk management and internal audit implementation in Ukraine

how internal audit could increase efficiency of companies’ activity

internal audit role is not only the controlling one.
Also there were represented two surveys made by PwC in 2009 – Global Economic Crime Survey that pointed out the importance of internal audit’s development and implementation and Internal Audit Survey.
The topic was such a hot one and led to a live discussion.
The attendees took a quiz and the quickest ones were awarded with prizes.
