On 16th of December, 2008 the Business Education Alliance, ACCA Licensed CBE centre, conducted the Workshop “Fundamental Changes in IFRS - New Consolidation Rules”. The event was held in the premises of University of Banking of National Bank of Ukraine.
The agenda of the workshop covered the number of topics, in particular: changes to IAS 1 – effective from 01.01.09; fundamental changes to IFRS 3, IAS 27 and IAS 28; changes to IAS 39. More than 60 practicing accountants, public accountants, analysts of enterprises, insurance companies and banks, including the ACCA members and NBU University teachers had a chance to discuss the current changes in IFRS.
