ACCA event on Developing Courses for ICFE
On 5 December 2008 the ACCA Ukraine and Cambridge ESOL conducted the presentation “Developing Courses for International Certificate in Financial English (ICFE) and Cambridge Business English Certificate (BEC)”. The presentation was given by Chris Scott-Barrett, Development Manager Central & Eastern Europe of Cambridge ESOL and David Watkins, Cambridge ESOL Consultant. The event brought together more than 25 ACCA students and members, tutors and employers, who learned more on the respective certificates and how the courses, leading to these new qualifications, can be developed.
Cambridge ICFE is a unique qualification which has been developed by the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations (English for Speakers of Other Languages) and ACCA http://www.financialenglish.org/.

Cambridge ICFE is an ideal qualification for anyone thinking of, or already pursuing, a career in accounting or finance. It is also ideal for candidates who can wish to embark on accountancy or finance qualification, and will be a valuable addition to the CV of anyone starting their career in finance.
