GFPAA awarded 9 exemptions from ACCA
Georgian Federation of Professional Accountants and Auditors receives 9 exemptions from ACCA.
On the 17th of July Georgian Federation of Professional Accountants and Auditors (GFPAA) was awarded with 9 exemptions for ACCA Qualification.
The holders of GFPAA Professional Accountant Certificate, graduating from 2008, will be able to claim exemptions for the whole Fundamentals model of ACCA Qualification, namely for papers F1 through F9. Also, the holders of GFPAA Certified Bookkeeper Certificate will get exemptions for papers F2 through F6, and holders of GFPAA Certified Accounting Technician will get exemptions for papers F7 through F9. This successful outcome resulted from a year-long dialogue between GFPAA and ACCA.
GFPAA is a non-governmental, not for profit organisation formed in 1998 through the merger of the Georgia Club of Accountants and the Georgia Association of Accountants. In 2000, GFPAA established the Institute of Professional Accountants and 500 students are enrolled in a Georgian-language programme based on ACCA. In 2003, GFPAA translated and published a Georgian version of ACCA textbooks and revision materials. Also, GFPAA is the only ACCA training provider in Georgian market.
