Think Zurich, and there's a good chance you think car insurance. Contents insurance. Building insurance. And whilst those areas are a big focus for us, the truth is there's a lot more to our business than you might think. We apply our expertise to challenges that are as diverse as they are complex - we insure the entire M25, for example. And the Gherkin. And the Roman Baths. And a £1m art work made entirely from cardboard.
We offer life insurance. And we provide pension plans for a huge range of blue-chip companies, from Royal Mail to eBay. Such diverse challenges demand constant innovation. And that's something that defines us as a business. We're always looking to make things simpler, easier and more effective for our customers, whether they're big corporations or home owners.
THE GRADUATE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME
So what does all of that mean for you? Well, it means work that's genuinely interesting and truly rewarding. It means wide-reaching opportunities (our schemes cover Actuary, Change Management, Finance & Accounting, Operations and General Management). And it means the chance to stretch your skills and push your potential in a business with unlimited possibilities. Put simply, if you're looking for something a little bit different, we've got your future covered.

What you might not know is that when you join us, you'll quickly become an important member of a 60,000 strong team that cares for customers in over 170 countries. The opportunities available here are huge. Before you know it, you could find yourself working internationally, progressing to leadership status, achieving professional qualifications, running your own projects or getting involved in our charity initiatives.
GRADUATE PROGRAMME - FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING
What makes our Finance and Accounting programme so unique is our excellent track record of turning talented graduates into world-class accountants and finance professionals. Some of our previous graduates have taken on junior management roles shortly after coming off the scheme, and even progressed into senior business finance positions where they are now supporting critical and strategic business decisions.
Joining our Life Insurance business in Swindon or General Insurance business in Fareham, you'll experience a number of rotations across both business-facing and corporate finance teams, which will see you getting involved in financial accounting and reporting, business partnering or expense analysis. After the two-year graduate development programme you'll continue for a third year to further develop your technical skills, with a view to achieving your qualified professional status.
