Charities Employment and The Equality Act

The Charity Commission will publish a full version of its Equality Act guidance in summer 2011.  This follows an evaluation of their summary guidance.

They have said that the fuller version will retain a focus on the charity exemption in the Equality Act.  It will also “include more examples and detail on areas such as the relationship between the public benefit test and the tests in the exemption, and how the tests in the exemption might work in relation to charities with restricted funds.”
