Non-Executive Directors

ACCA and The Financial Times Non-Executive Directors' Club (have joined forces to provide ACCA members with the opportunity to join the only web-based portal for aspiring and current non-executive directors.

The Financial Times Non-Executive Directors’ Club is the essential resource for the serious non-executive director. It is a content-driven website which aims to help experienced executives who are looking to develop a non-executive role, whether in tandem with an executive role or as part of a portfolio career, to keep abreast of all the issues which are current in the governance debate, and to provide them with appropriate non-executive job opportunities.

ACCA members benefit from special offers, including a reduction of the standard joining fee. The pricing structure for ACCA members is a reduced one off registration fee of £70 and an annual subscription fee of £60. All prices exclude VAT.

By becoming a member you get access to all the non-executive roles on their site, if you complete your profile you will get e-alerts of any roles you might be particularly suited for, discount on the cost of attending all our networking workshops and events and a monthly newsletter to keep you up to date with developments and provide you with useful and timely information.

On 26 Feb 2010 CEO Andrea Sutcliffe of the Appointments Commission spoke to ACCA members on becoming a successful non-executive director and what is involved. If you would like to download and listen to Andrea's presentation please visit the pod cast section of the website - How to become a non executive director.
