The Sussex Network works with other professional bodies and businesses across their region. These include
- a joint initiative with the University of Brighton Business School. Two networking meetings are held each year working together with the local branches of other professional bodies for an evening specifically intended to have the following aims
• opportuntities for cross sector networking
• exchange of relevant sector information
• share best practice
- Financial Services Seminars with Nsure Financial Services in Worthing
- ad hoc opportunities with membership of Sussex Enterprise
All events open to ACCA members will be listed with the Sussex Network core programme

St George’s Day breakfast - 23 April 2012
Malcolm Bradshaw, Sussex network past president is passionate about St George's Day. So much so that when he welcomed the guests to the inaugural Sussex St George's Day breakfast, at Sussex County Cricket Club, he did it in patriotic style with suitable waistcoat and boater! The tone of the morning was set and the attendees got off to a rip roaring networking session, over a full English breakfast, before Nicky Kriel, social media coach and trainer, took them through the essentials for building a Social Media Strategy for business. Lively discussion brought the 2 hour event to a close. Those who could stay a little longer were treated to a behind the scenes tour of the PROBIZ County Ground before going off to work. Top marks, on appraisal forms, for everything. The cricket fans are hoping similar success will follow the county team!
