Lectures & clubs

The Harrow Network runs various clubs covering a range of interests, which you can book individually. You can find further details by clicking on the links below.

Technical Discussion Group

The aim of the Technical Discussion Group is to arrange monthly meetings where members have the opportunity to discuss technical issues concerning accounting, auditing, tax, etc. Meetings are led by speakers who are specialists in their fields.  TDG meetings represent a small and friendly forum, which, collectively, possesses a wide range of experience and expertise, which members are encouraged to share.

Attendance at TDG meetings qualifies for CPD if relevant to members’ work.

Booking procedure

Due to the popularity of these meetings, members need to register in advance. Registration is at the core Harrow ACCA event (at the Harrow Civic Centre) preceding the TDG meeting.

An application to join the TDG (which sets out the Terms & Conditions of membership) needs to be completed on the first occasion that a member books to attend a TDG meeting. A £10 deposit is payable at the time. The deposit is rolled over each time a member books and attends. If having booked, a member does not attend the deposit is forfeit and must be renewed before the member can book again.

Limited number of places available please e-mail Asvin Shah by clicking on the link email for further information.
