ACCA Singapore Awards for Sustainability Reporting
ACCA has promoted greater transparency in the reporting of organisations' social and environmental impacts since 1991. One of our key projects is the 'Sustainability Reporting Awards', held in various countries around the world in Europe, North America, Africa and Australasia. The aim of these awards is to identify and reward innovative attempts to communicate corporate performance, although we do not comment on performance itself, only transparency and reporting standards.
Each awards scheme has its own panel of judges, which assess entrants and decide on overall winners. ACCA has developed a set of criteria which are used as a guide by judges. Underpinning these criteria is three principles of completeness, credibility and communication. Our Award winners demonstrate that, by emphasising these key elements, companies can target significant improvements in the quality of information disclosed during the reporting process. Ultimately, ACCA Awards help underline the business case for sustainable practices and development.
ACCA is pleased to announce that the Singapore Awards for Sustainability Reporting 2013 awards scheme is now open for entry. Interested applicants can download the application form and Applicant’s information booklet from www.accaglobal.com/sustainable_singapore.
