Mr Jamie Lyon, Head of Corporate Sector, ACCA, moderated a panel discussion at the recent Annual Asian Shared Services and Outsourcing Week that was held in Singapore. Experts in the field of shared services discussed the initial drivers behind the move to shared services and outsourcing, and how these are evolving and changing.

The session also shared insights from a recent global study by ACCA on the views of CFOs and Finance Directors on the success or otherwise of their shared services and outsourcing arrangements.

ACCA Singapore and PwC Singapore conducted joint survey on finance effectiveness

PwC Singapore and ACCA Singapore conducted a survey on Finance Effectiveness to gather insights on the current state of the effectiveness and productivity of the Finance and Accounting function in Singapore, and to identify key trends and areas for improvement.

More than 80 CFOs and senior finance professionals attended the launch of the survey results followed by a panel discussion that explored the implications of the survey results.
