ACCA Singapore Local Executive Committee re-elects Mr Kaka Singh as its President
Mr Kaka Singh, Chairman of RSM Chio Lim LLP and veteran industry expert has been re-elected as the ACCA Singapore Branch President. His appointment was confirmed by the Local Executive Committee (LEC), after ACCA's 68th Annual General Meeting held on Wednesday, 1st June 2011.
ACCA organised an exclusive Mock Exam and Examination Preparation Workshop for selected global and family employers under the ACCA Approved Employer Programme
In our efforts to support ACCA trainees in their progression towards completing the ACCA professional examinations, ACCA organised an exclusive Mock Exam and Examination Preparation Workshop for trainees sitting for the ACCA P7 (Advanced Audit) exams at the June exam session.
Attended by 15 ACCA trainees working for selected global and family employers under the ACCA Approved Employer Programme, the exam preparation session included a 3-hour mock exam followed by a 1-hour feedback session where trainees were taken through in-depth approaches to the exam questions by a P7 lecturer.
ACCA signs Memorandum of Cooperation with the Securities Investors Association Singapore (SIAS)
The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Securities Investors Association Singapore (SIAS) today signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) outlining multiple areas of collaboration. These include:
• Collaboration on research activities
• Supporting and promoting each other’s education and training programmes for members of both organisations.
• Working together on a Financial Literacy Programme for polytechnics
