BTK Bulgaria receives platinum approved employer status
BTK Bulgaria received the ACCA Approved Employer Status
-The largest employer in Bulgaria was the sixth company to receive Platinum status for Trainee Development
The Bulgarian Telecommunications Company passed successfully a certification process for obtaining the platinum level status of the Approved Employer Trainee Development Level and also for Professional Development. The Telecom became the sixth company in the country certified at this level by ACCA.
This approval by the largest and fastest-growing accountancy body in the world is a significant accolade for BTK and hopefully more students will be put through the ACCA Qualification.
Two employees from BTC Group have already passed successfully the exams and are already ACCA members. Three more employees from the company are ACCA students.
„I believe that the ACCA membership will help the company and its financial experts to apply more effectively the international accounting standards”, said Krasimir Logofetov, Chief Audit Executive in BTC Group. „One of the most important advantages is that ACCA members have the opportunity to maintain contacts among them and to share valuable experience”, Logofetov further explained.
BTK organised a special ceremony for the handing of certificates at their headquarters in Sofia on the 4th of April 2008.
