With the intention to support ACCA students and affiliates in achieving professional excellence by keeping a positive outlook and exercising different ways to enhance their professional image, ACCA Pakistan Lahore office organized a full day workshop on ‘projecting a professional personality’ at Pearl Continental Hotel on 13 March 2007.

This workshop was attended by 47 ACCA students and affiliates from Lahore and surroundings. This workshop focused on the impression of the individual’s personality as how it is affected by the way they dress, the personality they carry; self image and how it influences performance.

He mentioned during his discussion with the students that business and social etiquettes can be tricky but a right move can make a big difference. Adding to the conversation he said, “While meeting with people your discussion should always include logical reasons and your body language should support your statements.”

Various individual and group exercises were given to the participants on personality assessment and how to deal with people carrying different personalities. He shared the top ten rude office habits with the participants and asked them to list down the plans for their individual professional development.

Certificates of participation were presented to the participants at the end of the workshop. The proceedings of the workshop were also featured in ‘Business Recorder Lahore’ newspaper.
