ACCA Pakistan Outreach Program

ACCA Pakistan Lahore office together with British Council Multan office met over 800 students from O Level, A Level, Matriculation and Intermediate stream at Multan Public School, La Salle Higher Secondary School, Bloomfield Hall Upper School, Beaconhouse School System, Divisional Public School, DG Khan, Dominican Convent School Bahawalpur, Umm Al Qura Public School Bahawalpur, ENGRO Chemical Grammar School Dherki, FFC Grammar School Sadiqabad and Al Huda Grammar School Rahimyaar Khan.

 

The main aim of having these meetings was to create awareness among the young students in Pakistan about the different career opportunities available for them upon completion of their qualification.

 

The discussion at the schools revolved around the need of accountants in today’s world and the opportunities available for ACCA students and members within Pakistan and abroad. Then, the students were informed about the ACCA qualifications i-e Certified Accounting Technician, ACCA Professional Scheme and BSc Hons Degree in Applied Accounting offered by Oxford Brookes University and it’s recognition in Pakistan.

 

There were a number of questions raised by students during the discussion on the scope and acceptance of ACCA in Pakistan and worldwide, ACCA training and tuition facility for the students and the recognition of Oxford Brookes BSC (Hons) degree offered to ACCA students in Pakistan.
