 Prepare planning sessions (GBP, SII, OP), weekly updates and monthly reports. Track P&L development and update senior leadership on latest trends.
Develop and update detailed FP&A models to allow for scenario simulation and business cases evaluation.
Work actively with other departments to understand the business underlying trends. Lear how to leverage all data sources within the company.
Support GE finance systems implementation in GEAC in relation to new GE Aviation Acquisition in the Czech Republic.
Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to both US GAAP, contribute to month-end process, book US GAAP adjustments. Apply US GAAP methodology when convenient and applicable to support decisions regarding process changes.
Initiate and support all activities necessary for increase of quality and productivity of FP&A team work. Suggest and set up process changes resulting in automation, digitization, higher productivity, transparency and reduction of potential failures and errors in processes.
Implement new tools improving quality of controls for FP&A reporting processes (setting up new reports, dashboards and checks). Significant contribution to projects leading to an improved and simplified controllership environment.
Work with Finance Projects team and Quality team to digitize cost tracking process and develop project benefits tracking process; participate in other projects as and when required. | |
| Person specification: | |
| Minimum 3 years of financial work experience University degree in finance or accounting Very good analytical skills, industrial experience is a plus Very good accounting knowledge, US GAAP as well as local GAAP knowledge, understanding of mapping different systems Knowledge of GE FP&A tools and processes – preferably international job Excellent Excel knowledge Well developed interpersonal skills, ability to work with persons at all levels cross-functionally. Communication skills - strong ability to communicate internally at all organization levels and to headquarters in both verbal and written form. Interested in learning new things and working in challenging environment Hard-working, self-driven, energetic and enthusiastic personality English and Central European speaker | |
