Job description:

•Preparation and interpretation of monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports. •Ensuring consistency, accuracy and timeliness of financial information. •Responsible for the day to day running of the accounts department. •Review and updating of Accounting / Operational Systems and procedures. •Preparation of budgets. •Management of receivables accounts. •Responsible for bi-annual stock counts at multiple locations.

Person specification:

Applicants must possess a recognized professional accounting designation (ACCA, CGA, etc.) at least 3 years experience in a senior management accounting position, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Past experience preparing a business for external audits is required together with a high level of computer literacy, specifically in Excel. Experience in the distribution or retail sector would be an asset.
