CCAB/IIRC Integrated Reporting Workshop
|Event:||CCAB/IIRC Integrated Reporting Workshop|
Some of you will be aware that CCAB hosted a series of roundtables in the autumn of 2012 on behalf of the IIRC. The IIRC regard these having been successful in engaging over 220 CCAB accountants across the UK in the debate on Integrated Reporting.
The IIRC is now accelerating the market-led evolution in corporate reporting by producing the International Integrated Reporting Framework as a tool for businesses as they create integrated reports. To date, the IIRC Pilot Programme, with over 80 world-renowned businesses and 25 investors have been driving forward the development of the Framework by feeding back to the IIRC their experiences whilst on the road to Integrated Reporting.
The IIRC are confident that this is a powerful tool for businesses globally to use in order to give providers of financial capital a full picture of their story of value creation in the short, medium and long term. However, it is not complete, the IIRC are nearly there, they just do not have all the answers yet. On 16 April, for a period of 90 days, the IIRC will be launching the Framework in 10 of the world's largest global economies including the UK. The IIRC will be calling on you, and all other stakeholders across the world, to read it, challenge it, critique it, and feedback to them what parts you feel work and what perhaps does not. They aim to create a Framework that is fit for purpose in order to help businesses communicate value in the 21st Century - and your involvement will help them do so.
Join us in accelerating the evolution of corporate reporting and help us create the language of resilient business.
