Dominic Burch will share practical examples of how Asda are unlocking the value of Social Media and proving the return on investments made in this area. The presentation will include case studies of how Asda developed an approach to Social Media, setting out how a strategy to listen, engage and influence through Social Media was implemented.
A father of two, and a keen football fan, Dominic held a number of PR roles for RBS before joining Asda in 2002 as PR manager for food. He became Head of Corporate Communications in 2008 and Head of PR in 2012. In his current role as Head of Social Media, Dominic is responsible for driving social media strategy for Walmart's operations in the UK. Dominic is a member of the CIPR's social media panel, and a contributing writer to Share This Too a social media book for PR professionals.
