Speakers:
Mark Whittaker, Director, Begbies Traynor and Julian Wells, Marketing Adviser & Head of Introducer Channel, rebuildingsociety.com

Mark, a lifelong banker, joined Yorkshire Bank in 1981 and undertook a wide variety of front line roles including traditional branch manager positions in Yorkshire and Oxfordshire. His career culminated in heading up the Bank’s flagship corporate business centre in Leeds.
Mark also undertook a range of strategic project work for the parent company, National Australia Bank.
More recently, he headed up Santander’s commercial business centre in West Yorkshire and, also, ran his own company offering strategic and sales leadership advice and support to various corporate clients.
Mark’s role with Begbies involves coordinating business development activity and providing Banking advice and support to the business and its professional partners.

Julian Wells, Marketing Adviser & Head of Introducer Channel, rebuildingsociety.com
Based in Leeds, Julian Wells is a well known financial services marketing expert with over 15 years' experience in the industry.
He has worked with a number of businesses to help them promote and distribute their products and services via introducer channels. Julian previously worked for Nationwide, Merrill Lynch, Boston Consulting Group, HML (part of Skipton Building Society)and has also been involved in a number of new ventures across the lending industry. He is currently working with rebuildingsociety.com to promote its adviser proposition in Yorkshire and nationally.
rebuildingsociety.com is a recently launched peer-to-business crowdfunding platform based in Leeds. It generates commercial loans by bringing together businesses who can’t get funding from banks with savers who want a better return on their investments.
