Central London network dinner - the Olympic Legacy
|Event:||Central London network dinner - the Olympic Legacy|
The ACCA UK Central London Network annual dinner takes a look back to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Six months ago the curtain closed on the London Olympics leaving a legacy that is far beyond the distribution of medals. We explore the legacy that the Olympic Games has given to London and ultimately to the UK?
London 2012 promised to bring the benefits of the 2012 Games to every part of the UK. It spread excitement and positivity, and in extremely challenging economic times the London Olympic and Paralympic Games have given a boost to businesses of all sizes and sectors across the UK.
The London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games last 29 days but the regeneration programme they are part of will continue to benefit Londoners for decades.
With the help of our distinguished panel, and in open forum, we will explore the legacy of London 2012.
James Graven, Partner, Deloitte LLP, official professional services provider for London 2012
Councillor Alec Kellaway, Executive Member for Business and Skills, Newham Council
Stephen Hunt, Insolvency Practitioner and Partner, Griffins Insolvency, Litigation, Forensics
The forum is followed by dinner where our after dinner speakers will recall what it was like to be part of an historic 29 days.
The Central London network dinner and talk has become a regular highlight of the Network's programme. A combination of predinner talks, a 3 course meal and an after dinner speaker, bound together by a current topical theme, is the successful format that has been enthused about by recent attendees.
