Speaker - Jamie Hutcheon, Chocolatier Director, Cocoa Ooze Ltd

In 2008, at the tender age of 17, Jamie Hutcheon created his luxury chocolate brand Cocoa Ooze. A chef trained at some of the best establishments in Aberdeen, he grew the business until 2010 when he left the security of his catering job and took the plunge to run the business full time.

The self-taught entrepreneur has created a business for the future currently employing 9 members of staff and supplying his products to the local Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire area and also further afield.

Jamie’s entrepreneurial spirit has been recognised through being selected as a finalist for the 2011 and 2012 JCI Creative Entrepreneur Award and the Scotland Food & Drink Young Talent Award in 2012 and also the Grampian Business Awards Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year in 2010. Further successes include being nominated as a Bronze winner for the Grampian Food Forum Innovation Award 2011, a runner up for the PSYBT Regional Business Award 2011 and a finalist in the Scotland Food & Drink Excellence Awards for Retail, Confectionary and Snacking in 2011.
In amongst a busy schedule Jamie is also Chairman of the Stonehaven Farmers Market and Regional Ambassador for PYSBT.  Jamie also donates his time to local charities.

Entertainment - Colin McLeod, Mind Reader

A Mind Reader, a Mentalist, a Psychological Illusionist, call it whatever you like! Hailed as the new Derren Brown, Colin’s amazing skills have seen him travel the world performing his unique brand of entertainment for A-list celebrities, on television and in theatres and comedy clubs. Much in demand following appearances on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent and Penn and Teller:Fool Us, , he has also performed at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, The Hollywood Magic Castle, the International Magic Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe among others.

Having trained as a Forensic Scientist and specialised in Criminal Profiling, he has taken all of his psychological skills and background in hypnosis to design a truly unique entertainment experience. In addition to performing at events held by some of Scotland’s leading companies, he also coaches senior management teams and has worked with a number of educational institutions as an expert in the mind, persuasion and creativity.

What happens in the show? Well obviously we don’t want to give too much away …. But needless to say minds will be read and people will be left gasping!
