Supply Chain and Export Finance
|Event:||Supply Chain and Export Finance|
Terms-of-Trade have moved away from traditional instruments like Letter of Credit and Collections towards open-account. In response, a number of new financing arrangements have emerged, but are they just the old ones dressed in new clothes? What are the benefits and risks? This course covers both the traditional instruments that are geared to maritime trade, how their applicability has been widened to air and road transportation, and then how services for open-account are being developed – by banks. This course aims to give a broad view of value propositions, benefits, issues and risks.
