CPD Meeting in Warsaw - Leadership for Strategy Execution - how do you get things done?

Event: CPD Meeting in Warsaw - Leadership for Strategy Execution - how do you get things done?

ACCA Poland and Management Centre Europe (MCE) are pleased to invite you to the presentation entitled:

"Leadership for Strategy Execution - how do you get things done?" - presentation by Angelika Bergmann, MCE and Arnold Nienhui, Philips International

ACCA Poland Office
ul. Chmielna 1/3 lok. 12
Warsaw
07/12/2010 (18:00 - 20:00)

The implementation of a strategy very often fails because leaders do not focus on the critical issue of aligning the people to the strategy.  As a manager You must align your unit’s strategy to the corporate strategy. You are accountable for aligning your own team to implement the strategy and achieving the results. What should you as a leader do to align your people, and how can you lead other stakeholders over whom you have no authority?  Throughout this 2 hour workshop you will go through the key concepts of leadership and you will explore with the MCE Senior Associate Angelika Bergman the MCE leadership model (a system of interrelated variables all of which impact your company’s ability to execute a strategy: customer proposition, strategy commitment, performance metrics, behaviour of leaders, processes and structure, and culture).
This will then be illustrated by a case study presented by Arnold Nienhuis, Philips International, Marketing and Sales Operations.  Mr Nienhuis will especially go through the concept of customer centricity.

The presentation will be conducted in English
