ACCA Graduation Ceremony 2009, Prague

ACCA Graduation ceremony held on 19 May celebrated the success of more than 70 graduates who passed their last exams in June and December 2008. All present graduates were personally congratulated by ACCA President Richard Aitken Davies and Katka Benesova, Head of ACCA Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary.

We all appreciate how tough the exams can be to pass - let alone to excel in. It was our pleasure to say that there are still individuals in the Czech Republic whose marks were among the highest in the world for their individual papers. The highest mark in June 2008 exam sitting was 91, scored by Ladislav Sim in Paper F4 – Global Corporate & Business Law. That session 1,910 students sat the exam and Ladislav was 4th in the world. In the December 2008 exam sitting it was 88 marks, scored by Jana Starcova in Paper F8 - Audit and Assurance INT. Jana was 7th in the world. Katka Benesova mentioned one more student - Lucie Jimenez. Since her registration in 2006, she scored the highest marks in the Czech Republic in every exam session at least for one paper!
