ACCA ACCELERATE
The graduate job market is more competitive than ever, so it's important to stand out from the crowd.
Joining ACCA Accelerate programme is a good way to stay ahead of the competition and develop the knowledge to show employers how serious you are about a career in accountancy.
ACCA Accelerate programme affiliates undergraduates and post graduates with ACCA before they complete their studies and undertake a professional qualification.
By joining ACCA Accelerate, you are not obliged to undertake ACCA Qualification at the end of your studies if they do not wish to.
Students from all degree and postgraduate degree disciplines may join ACCA Accelerate.
There are two levels of ACCA Accelerate membership:
1. ACCA Accelerate lite
Primarily for first and second year students, third years on four year degree programmes, this free membership provides the following benefits:
- Digital Student Accountant
ACCA's monthly student magazine packed with industry news, technical articles and practical career development advice.
- Stay up-to-date with a career in finance
ACCA will also provide regular news updates from the profession, accouuntancy and finance study and career tips, as well as graduate jobs.
- Invitation to local ACCA student events
ACCA Australia & New Zealand hosts new ACCA student orientation events across Australia and New Zealand to provide new students with the opportunity to learn more about the resources that are available to them when undertaking their ACCA Qualification. These ACCA meetings also provide an excellent opportunity to ask questions about ACCA's examinations, the experience requirement and the professional ethics module and meet students who are already undertaking ACCA Qualification.
- Record relevant work experience
Access ACCA Trainee Development Matrix and record work experience allowing students to track their progress against ACCA's performance objectives and accelerate their journey to qualifying as an ACCA accountant.
ACCA Accelerate Lite Registration
If you would like to become an ACCA Accelerate lite student, send us an email with the following information:
- your full name (first name and surname)
- email address
- degree studying
- university studying at
- year and month of graduation
2. Full ACCA Accelerate membership
All ACCA Accelerate lite students will be asked if they wish to transfer across to full Accelerate membership in the final year of their academic study.
Students, who are not ACCA Accelerate lite students and have at least (5) months of their degree study left; can join the full ACCA Accelerate programme. The benefits above will be offered, in addition to invitation to the free local ACCA CPD events hosted for ACCA members and students.
The cost of full ACCA Accelerate membership is £15 and ACCA will waiver the remaining £44 initial registration fee to become an ACCA student on complete of your university studies, should you choose to become an ACCA student.
