Born in the UK, Mark spent his early career in the accounting profession and design industry. After completing his ACCA qualification, he joined a leading firm of Chartered Surveyors, before emigrating to Australia in 1996 where he joined DTZ Bayleys (Real Estate Services) as their Company Secretary/Accountant.

Mark has since worked in real estate for leading firms such as Jones Lang LaSalle where he worked for 5 ½ years, being responsible for a team of 20+ qualified accountants, looking after the property level financial reporting for all commercial and industrial assets owned by the ASX listed General Property Trust, and CB Richard Ellis. Mark relocated to Brisbane in 2005 where he joined construction firm Watpac as Group Accountant.

Mark is currently Company Secretary and CFO of the Matrix Group (Australia).

Mark credits his success on building long-term relationships and ensuring “mutual respect” in all dealings. With the ability to generate strong strategic vision Mark is also a leader in the implementation of change.
