Belete is a lecturer in accounting at Deakin University and a Fellow of ACCA. He is also an ACCA Campus Ambassador at Deakin University; a volunteer mentor to ACCA students taking Paper F2 - Management Accounting; and a member of CPA Australia. 

Belete has been an active member of ACCA for many years - he was the founding president of the Chartered Certified Accountants Students Society in Ethiopia from 1996 to 1998 and a member of ACCA Central London District Society from 1999 to 2003. He has been an active member of ACCA Australia and New Zealand since 2004. In his role as ACCA Campus Ambassador, he has promoted ACCA at the different campuses of Deakin University including representing us at Career Fairs.

Belete has a wide network of ACCA members and will use this as a means of identifying the needs, challenges and issues relevant to members and channel it to inform the strategic plans of ACCA. He has worked over the years with ACCA officials in Australia/New Zealand and at Head Office in London and will build on these relationships to promote the needs of local members.
