Interest group for Women in Business | Sydney
Welcome to ACCA Women in Business Interest Group!
Our group was re-launched in December 2011 with the main objective to promote sharing of information, experiences and knowledge by ACCA members who are based in Sydney.
Informal atmosphere, relevant and practical discussions coupled with guest speakers and subject matter experts provide a fruitful ground for helping our ACCA participants to learn how to best achieve their professional goals.
Many women feel more comfortable approaching other women colleagues for professional advice or guidance. It is often hard, however, to find such a mentor or a role model in the workplace alone. Our Group provides an opportunity for our participants to engage with other like-minded professionals in a friendly and stimulating setting. We talk to each other, share our views, experiences and observations, and most importantly, we find answers and help others with new ideas.
Here are just a few examples of the topics discussed previously: Mentoring, Women in Leadership Positions, Salary Negotiation Techniques.
The range of topics selected in 2013 aims to continue keeping the discussions relevant and practical to ACCA members.
We cordially invite you to come and join one of our sessions!
