KAPLAN BUSINESS SCHOOL INTENSIVE REVISION COURSES | MAY 2010
Examination Revision Courses for Papers P1 and P2 are available this May in Sydney and Melbourne.
Examination technique can make the difference between examination success and failure. This is especially true at the Professional level.

P1 lecturer biography
Karin Matusza is the senior lecturer and presenter for the P1 Professional Accountant paper in Melbourne. In her revision courses, Karin has a strong focus on examination techniques, past examination and examination style questions. Prior to joining Kaplan, Karin has worked in various senior accounting and finance positions both in Australia and overseas. Karin's most recent role was as a Financial Controller at Babcock & Brown Communities, she has an ideal background to guide students through the P1 paper.

P2 lecturer biography
Maritana Richards is the senior lecturer and presenter for the P2 Corporate Reporting (International) paper at Kaplan in Melbourne. As an ACCA Fellow, Maritana is probably the most experienced ACCA lecturer in Australia, with 30 years of experience both as an educator in Australian and international universities, and in practice, where she has held senior positions in two global accountancy firms. She is also a facilitator for one of the Australian accountancy bodies. Maritana knows exactly what is required to get students over the line in the P2 paper, and loves to share her knowledge of examination technique with course participants.

P1 lecturer biography
Patrick Gallagher is the lecturer and presenter for the P1 Professional Accountant paper at Kaplan in Sydney. Patrick is a hugely experienced and very well known practitioner and lecturer, having lectured on many previous revision courses, both in Australia and overseas, including the Kaplan revision course for Paper P1 for the December 2009 examination diet. He has also sat on the national Academic Board for Kaplan in Australia, as a consultant academic.

P2 lecturer biography
Emma Holmes is the lecturer and presenter for the P2 Corporate Reporting (International) paper in Sydney. She has many years of experience as a practitioner in firms such as PwC, as a lecturer at number of institutions including Macquarie University, and as a consultant. Emma also has significant experience sitting on the examination assessment panel for ICAA which gives her a significant insight into what it requires to be successful in professional accountancy examinations.
ACCA STUDENT ENGAGE WEBCAST | EXAMINATION PREPARTION | 16 APRIL 2010
The next Student Engage webcast event for 2010 will be held on Friday 16 April 2010 at 12.00 (GMT).
This event will feature ACCA's heads of education and tuition support manager, who work closely with tuition providers in their region to improve teaching standards and offer additional support to students.

JUNE 2010 EXAMINATION DIET | ACCA QUALIFICATION
Exam deadline
The quickest and simplest way to register for your exams is to register online at myACCA
Registering for your exams online means:
- you get immediate confirmation of receipt and processing of your exam entry so you don't need to worry if you've been entered for the exams
- you get immediate validation of exam entry information so any errors or misunderstandings can be sorted as soon as possible
- you can go back and change the exam centre you've selected
- you can change your law/tax variant and standards or stream
- should you change your mind about which exams you feel ready to take then you can amend the selections you may have previously made.
Please note that you can make as many changes as you wish online to your exam selection at no extra cost up until the standard exam entry closing date of exams and 15 April for June exams and 15 October for December.
