As one of our important ambassadors in the business community, we urge you to encourage your organisation to enter the awards.

ABOUT THE AWARDS

The 2008 ACCA Australia & New Zealand awards attracted 77 entries, which represented a 54% increase from the 2007 Awards.  As a result of the exponential growth of our awards programme over the past two years, ACCA has decided to launch two separate awards programmes – one for Australia and one for New Zealand.

ACCA awards around the world reward companies for excellence in environmental, social and sustainability reporting. The aim of our awards is to identify and reward innovative attempts to communicate corporate performance, although we do not comment on the performance itself. Our aim is to reward transparency.

The awards attract considerable interest from the business community, media and the government. Last year our winners included VicSuper, Watercare Services, Origin Energy, Henry Davis York Lawyers, Toyota Motor Corporation Australia, BHP Billiton, Stockland, Woolworths, Transurban and Telstra.
