ACCA student information for 2010

With the 15 April examination deadline approaching we trust your preparations for the June examination diet are coming together.

This news alert focuses on support, resources and information to assist you achieve examination success.

NEW ACCA STUDENT ORIENTATION MEETINGS
For students who have recently joined ACCA, and for those existing students who would like to learn more about the resources and tools available to them, ACCA Australia & New Zealand will be hosting the following orientation events.

Hamilton - Wednesday 10 February | The Rev | Clyde Street |
                  Hamilton East | 5.30pm
Auckland - Thursday 18 February | Stamford Plaza Hotel Auckland|
                  5.45pm
Wellington - Monday 22 February | location to be advised | 5.30pm

Students in each city will be sent exact details of their local event shortly.

ACCA EXAMINATION PREPARATION BRIEFINGS

ACCA Australia & New Zealand will be hosting the following briefings to help ACCA students improve their preparation for ACCA’s examinations. These briefings will be provided by a qualified ACCA member, free of charge. 

• Auckland –  evening Thursday 25 March | Stamford Plaza Hotel
                      Auckland

• Wellington – evening Monday 29 March | location to be advised

While there will be a focus on the P1, P2 and P3, at the Professional Level, a session on How to pass ACCA examinations – Techniques for Success will be of benefit to all ACCA students to attend.

Students in each city will be sent exact details of their local event shortly.

ACCA and Cambridge international certificate in financial Englsih (Cambridge ICFE)
A high-level language qualification for accounting and finance students and professionals, Cambridge ICFE is a qualification assessing English language skills in the context of finance and accounting.

JUNE 2010 EXAMINATION DIET | ACCA QUALIFICATION

Exam deadline
The quickest and simplest way to register for your exams is to register online at myACCA

Registering for your exams online means:

• you get immediate confirmation of receipt and processing of your exam entry so you don't need to worry if you've been entered for the exams
• you get immediate validation of exam entry information so any errors or misunderstandings can be sorted as soon as possible
• you can go back and change the exam centre you've selected
• you can change your law/tax variant and standards or stream
• should you change your mind about which exams you feel ready to take then you can amend the selections you may have previously made.

Please note that you can make as many changes as you wish online to your exam selection at no extra cost up until the standard exam entry closing date of exams and 15 April for June exams and 15 October for December.
