Passing your final exams is an impressive accomplishment.

Are you ready to achieve your ultimate goal of membership? If you've already fulfilled your practical experience requirement (PER) and recorded it in the online trainee development matrix (TDM), you'll soon receive your invitation to transfer to membership. So it's important to make sure your contact details are up to date in myACCA 

We will invite you to transfer to membership as soon as your TDM indicates that you have:

• completed the Professional Ethics module (where required)
• recorded 36-month's experience in a relevant role using the PER return

and either

• answered the challenge questions for 13 performance objectives (all 9 Essentials and any 4 from Options) and had these signed off by your workplace mentor

or

• are exempt from completing the TDM if you work for a gold or platinum ACCA Approved Employer – trainee development stream.

If you can't wait to hear from us you can apply online through myACCA  or download the application form in the related documents section on the transfer to membership page .

If you make an online or manual membership application it can take approximately four to six weeks to process. But if you update your TDM records and meet the membership requirements you'll receive your email invitation within a couple of weeks, and could be transferred to membership within a further 10 days.

Talk to your workplace mentor and target the performance objectives you still need to achieve and determine how and when you plan to achieve these.

Remember:

• update your PER in the TDM regularly throughout the year
• every month counts and takes you closer to the 36-month requirement – if it's relevant to accountancy and finance, then you can record it in a PER return 
• target the performance objectives you require for membership first if you can – you need all nine Essentials performance objectives but only four from Options.
