New Appointment for ACCA USA

Ruth Fasoldt joins ACCA USA as the new Engagement Manager.  In this role, Ruth will lead member engagement and support the Head of USA with business development relationships.

Prior to the ACCA, Ruth worked for the Association for a Better New York (ABNY) as first the Project Manager and was later promoted to the Director of Membership & Special Events.  She supported the Executive Director and Deputy Director with membership development and fostered enduring and meaningful relationships with over 250 members and hundreds of potential members.  Ruth was also responsible for planning, coordinating and managing all of ABNY breakfasts and foundation events, over 25 events a year, numerous attended by 500+ guests.  

Before ABNY, Ruth was the events coordinator for several departments at Simmons College in Boston, MA.  She planned and served as chief contact for all their yearly networking dinners, lectures, receptions and dinners.  These events hosted national and international dignitaries including authors, renowned research fellows, and US Ambassadors.

Ruth has a B.A. in History from Union College and a M.A. in History and M.S. in Archives Management from Simmons College.
