PwC offers new training services

PwC has started offering international professional training courses for accountants based on the ACCA Qualification in Lithuania. The ACCA Qualification covers all areas of corporate financial management: starting with financial reporting, management accounting, business taxation and law, and ending with audit and business ethics.

Nataliya  Vovchuk, Head of ACCA Ukraine, Baltic and Caucasus States, said: “The PwC Academy’s initiative to develop ACCA training capacity in Lithuania is a big and important step towards strengthening accountancy profession in the Baltic States. We see it as a well-considered and timely action, especially because of increased role of finance professionals in making strategic solutions for businesses. Expanding access to quality tuition for the ACCA Qualification is central to the promotion of high global standards in finance, accounting and audit. Therefore, ACCA highly appreciates the input of PwC Academy as an experienced partner and training institution in this area.“

According to Chris Butler, PwC Managing Partner in Lithuania, ACCA training not only provides  professional knowledge in finance and accounting, but also develops valuable organizational and strategic management skills.

PwC has a wide network of learning academies – ACCA training sessions are arranged in different Central and Eastern European countries. Such collaboration will help to improve the quality of ACCA training and administration  and increase the value of the ACCA Qualification in Lithuania. ACCA training for accountants in Lithuania will be provided by PwC in cooperation with Michael Little & Ko.
