MoU with Auditors’ Chamber of Ukraine
ACCA and ACU (Auditors' Chamber of Ukraine ) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), providing a framework for joint working between the two bodies.
Both organisations have been working closely in a number of areas during the last 5 years and this MOU underpins these activities.
Natalya Vovchuk , Head of ACCA Ukraine, Baltic, Caucasus states, in particular, thanked ACU and Chairperson of the Auditors' Chamber of Ukraine Mrs. Stolyarova for endorsement of ACCA initiatives in Ukraine, including simplified ACU examinations for those ACCA members willing to obtain auditor's certificate in Ukraine, and introducing training on ACCA Diploma in International Financial Reporting (DipIFR) for auditors of Ukraine.
Roger Acton , Director – Europe , ACCA says: “We welcome the opportunity to reinforce our excellent working relationship with Auditors ' Chamber of Ukraine. Our agreement covers areas of information exchange, undertaking activities of common interest, fostering international cooperation”.
Svitlana Stolyarova , Chairperson of the Auditors' Chamber of Ukraine: “The MOU gives us formalized basis for the continuing and ongoing cooperation with the ACCA. We believe that members of the ACU will benefit from further cooperation with ACCA – especially by having access to ACCA internal publications for members and students. Experience of ACCA in development of CPD (continuing professional development programs) will be very important for ACU.
