ACCA Scotland elects deputy president
Former Airdrie Academy student, and school captain, Alan Esson has been elected deputy president of ACCA Scotland.
Craig Vickery, head of ACCA Scotland said: “Alan has been an active member of the ACCA Scotland community for many years. I’m delighted that his service has been rewarded with this election.
“Alan served on the ACCA Edinburgh and East of Scotland Network in 2008 and 2009 and has been a member of the Scottish Committee since 2006. His work on the committee has resulted in a very much deserved election to deputy president.”
Alan, who works in Edinburgh, lives in Airdrie with his wife and three children. He is a senior risk manager within Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (SWIP), one of the UK’s largest asset management companies, and currently provides in-house risk advisory services to SWIP’s executive management team.
Alan obtained his ACCA membership in 2001.
