'Cash is King' says panel of experts

Do you have clients who are struggling to access finance? How can your clients take advantage of the opportunities an upturn might present? What criteria do banks have for making lending decisions?

ACCA UK's sound financial management vodcast looks at these issues and offers practical, valuable advice for both you and your clients.

Glenn Collins, ACCA UK's head of advisory services, John Davis, director of Local Business at Barclays, and Sara Harvey a qualified chartered certified accountant present their views on how SMEs can survive the current climate, while recognising that access to finance is a huge issue for SMEs and for the accountants representing them.

The vodcast offers invaluable advice for would-be entrepreneurs looking to start out as well as existing SMEs. Glenn Collins concludes, 'If there's one thing someone should take away from our words of wisdom it is that "cash is King". Memorise this because it's this mantra that will keep your business going'.
