Cargill (Polska) sp. z o.o. has become ACCA Approved Employer
Cargill (Polska) sp. z o.o. has received the awards of ACCA Approved Employer for trainee development (at a gold level) and ACCA Approved Employer for professional development in recognition of the support that the Company offers to its employees. The certificates were presented to Joanna Byczynska, finance director of Cargill (Polska) by Malgorzata Sawicka, Head of ACCA Poland.
Cargill is an international provider of food, agricultural and risk management products and services, with 160.000 employees in 67 countries and the headquarters in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. In Poland Cargill established its activities in 1991 when it opened an office in Warsaw to explore trading and investment opportunities following many years of trading grains, soybean meal and apple juice. Today the company employs approx. 900 people in ten locations and serves customers from feed and food processing sectors. Cargill operates six animal feed mills located all over Poland, one premix oriented facility in Kiszkowo (separate business organisation - LNB Poland) and the wheat glucose syrups and ethanol production plant in Bielany Wroclawskie – the only such plant in Central Europe. The company is also a leading importer of soybean meal. The team of grain and oilseeds traders based in the Warsaw office is active in connecting Polish farmers and processors with customers and suppliers all over the world. The other Cargill products offered to the Polish food processing industry include: texturisers and emulsifiers, vegetable oils, citrus and other exotic fruit juice, cocoa and chocolate products.
During its 18 years of activity in Poland, Cargill has won the trust of local suppliers and co-operators as a reliable business partner, providing secure employment in the area, and actively participating in the social life of the community.
