ACCA inks MoU with FSTEP
ACCA and Financial Sector Talent Enrichment Programme (FSTEP) inked a Memorandum of Understanding, which enables ACCA trainees and members to participate in FSTEP designed to train and prepare high calibre graduates for employment in the financial services institutions.
FSTEP consists of two main parts: 6 months intensive classroom and 6 months on-the-job training.
For the first six months of the programme, participants will be exposed to courses on conventional banking, Investment banking, Islamic banking and insurance and Takaful through a series of lectures, workshops, case studies, simulations and short attachment. In addition, participants will also pursue self-development courses.
The remaining 6 months will be on-the-job training, where participants will undergo their internship with a financial institution in either the banking or insurance industry.
