Platinum Status Award
Tunku Abdul Rahman College (TARC) was awarded ACCA Approved Learning Partner - Student Tuition, Platinum Status – reaffirming its standing in accountancy teaching and learning.
The award ceremony, held on 28 February 2011, was witnessed by housing and local government minister Datuk Wira Chor Chee Heung, ACCA Asia Pacific director May Law and more than 500 guests. These included representatives from ACCA Malaysia Advisory Committee, accounting firms, professional bodies, corporations, college staff and students.
Law presented the prestigious award to TARC principal Dr Tan Chik Heok. In her speech, she said that TARC successfully met the challenging targets in its delivery of the ACCA programme and had consistently surpassed pass rate targets. She expressed confidence that, based on its track record and its extra efforts in managing and delivering ACCA courses, TARC would provide students with quality tuition and support to maximise students’ potential.
