Launch of ACCA MaSRA 2010

The aims of these Awards are:

  • to give recognition to those organisations which report and disclose full sustainability,
    environmental or social information
  • to encourage the uptake of sustainability, environmental or social reporting
  • to raise awareness of corporate transparency issues.

The 2009 awards attracted considerable interest from the business community. UEM Enviroment Sdn Bhd emerged as the winner for the Best Sustainable Report. Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad was awarded winner for the Environmental Performance Report while Nestle (Malaysia) Berhad was awarded winner for the Social Performance Report. Other awards winners are Puncak Niaga Holdings Berhad for Integrated Reporting in An Annual Report and Kulim (Malaysia) Berhad (Plantation Division) for Best First Time Reporter.

This information flyer, together with the accompanying application form, will provide you with the essential details needed to enter the Awards scheme.
